Figure drawing: the need for structure.
· This was my first figure drawing. One of its many problems is a lack of structure. I hadn't yet learned that I needed to help the viewer translate that two-dimensional drawing back into a three-dimensional form. My ignorance of anatomy at the time only compounded the problem. The aim of this tutorial is to help you create more solid, three-dimensional figure drawings by developing a structure to underpin your figure.
